Search isn't working for me, so I can't get to the original thread I made. But this movie was hilarious. Wasn't expecting it, but it was funnier than Hangover 2 for me. Kristen Wiig has always been my favorite current SNL member, and I was unfamiliar with Melissa McCarthy, maybe I should watch that Mike and Molly show.

And the jewelry store scene was my favorite.

I couldn't disagree more. McCarthy was absolutely hilarious, but the rest of the cast was unwatchable.

It's one thing to not be able to deliver a line on a live sketch show. But if you can't get your line out, without laughing, in a major motion picture, that ruins it for me.

Also, yes, you should definitely watch Mike & Molly. It is one of the funnier shows on TV right now.

I only mentioned those 2 for that reason. I do like Wiig though, shes different. But I liker her SNL stuff, so maybe thats why I enjoyed her so much.

But Melissa McCarthy absolutely stole the movie.

I thought this movie was terrible. I acknowledge that McCarthy was quite funny at times, but as a whole the movie was just annoying. I almost left.

I just finished watching it and it was ok nothing great the scene at the high end wedding store was funny but that was about it.

Loved it. Hilarious and great to watch with the wife - enough man type humor and enough girl issue humor for her. A little slow here and there but I laughed more at this than I did at the hangover.

She was pretty funny on SNL she had a real no holds bared approach. I saw one episode of Mike and Molly and it was horrendous. I did see Bridesmades and I was excited about it because of the reviews and what everyone told me but I just thought it was meh. funny parts but defiantly not the next great comedy.
