Yes, I would do it. Otah is great when he is on the field, but I would rather have the 2nd.

Whooooa...........yeah i would think about it. Dont get me wrong i love Jeff Otah but if i KNEW for sure i had a reliable replacement i might pull the trigger becuz the Bears really need O line help and a second would be great compensation if they were to offer it.

So your question is would you trade a great offensive lineman for a 2nd round pick.....when the majority of your 2nd round picks turn out to suck??

Answer is no. Even if Otah can't play full seasons. He is good when he plays and that means ultimately he is a good player on the OL. OL is HUGE in the NFL. At worst he turns into good depth until his contract comes up.
