False. Either major league pitcher or any scoring position in professional soccer. Competition to get into pro soccer and NBA basketball is much tougher than the nfl.

what are you bringing up NBA basketball for? There isn't a position in basketball that can be discussed in comparason to the difficulty the NFL QB position. You are getting into roster size and how hard it is to be win a spot on a team.....that isn't what was being discussed.

Major league pitcher? The best closer in MLB baseball history has 1 flippin pitch. He throws one pitch......pitching can't be compared to the difficultly of playing NFL QB. Not w/ the time frame QBs have to process information, expose there bodies, and execute.

It's cracking me up how mad you guys are getting. This guy is a random nobody I've never heard of. Anyone heard of Armond White? He's this controversial movie critic that always gives negative reviews to awesome movies like Inception and The Dark Knight and Up and gives positive reviews to the worst movies out there. He does it because it whips fanboys into a lather so they click on his article and increase the page views for the site. This guy is just doing a more subtle method of that for ESPN.

seems about right. rookie DL and LB's seem to make the transition quicker than any other position. they can be studs within a few games. QB's generally take a year or 3 due to not only the speed of the game but the complexity of the playbook compared to their college systems.

WR's aren't use to being covered on every play as they are accustomed to being able to easily get open on athletic ability rather than by good route running. in the NFL, DB's can run fast too.

RB's get overwhelmed with the speed of the DL and LB until they get a year or so under their belts to get adjusted to the game and it's pass rush pickup that poses their biggest learning curve.

yeah, a rookie DL or LB has the best chance of not only starting and producing immediately but also of looking like a seasoned vet if they are already a stud to begin with.

many thought Miller would have been our first choice if we already had a QB.

The only thing I have a problem with is that they said von miller is #1 and it isn't even close.

How isn't it close? The NFL has never seen a rookie qb throw for back to back 400 yard games let a lone 400 yards in a NFL debut like cam did. Seems to me ESPN just loves to continue to make an ass out of themselves
