BOA is the shadiest corporation in the history of the world. For srs

If you live in meck co you should be with Charlotte Metro Credit Union, I have yet to pay a single fee of any kind in the 2 years I've been with them. AND they make debit cards in each branch, lose your card? Open a new account? Get hacked? No problem you'll have a new one within 10 minutes of arriving at the branch. Pretty schweet

FUG BOA

Not to burst your bubble, but BofA does that.

I had my CC stolen a few months ago by someone who then bought $5000 worth of plane tickets. After a 5 minute phone call and filling out a one page document, had the entire thing cleaned from my statement. I don't love BofA, but I don't hate them either. I like having access to that many ATMs, too.

You guys are acting like $5 a month is some unbelievable price.

Stop being poor.

Really? What's the 5 dollars for? I already give them the right to "loan" my money that in it self should let them be happy to have my business. Without people putting money in the bank what can they loan? If 5 dollars isn't so much why does such a big corp. need 5 dollars each month? Makes me feel like I have a credit card with a annual fee so I can have credit.

I will say our mortgage process at BofA was absolutely atrocious.

Ours was too

That is funny. The whole reason we are staying with BofA is because of how well they handled our mortgage. We tried to go with a credit union and they botched it.

The CU said we had to have 5 years of w-2 forms. We lived overseas for most of that. They said well get a w-2 from that country. Um W-2 doesn't exist in that country but I can get you a pay stub. No has to be a w-2, can you write and request one. FROM WHO??

Anyway BofA handled it easily.

Almost all big banks process debits before deposits regardless of when they were actually done during the day. BBT charged me $270 in overdraft fees once because of that.

The bank I work for (it rhymes with BunRust) processes credits before debits. However, they will send larger debits through first (usually the more important debits, such as mortgage, insurance etc) Which could cause multiple charges due to smaller items posting against a minus balance.
