CLT Tower: "Cactus three niner seven, just before approach, we need you to swing out over bank of america stadium at about 800 feet if you don't mind. Slow her way down, but don't stall it. Might want to warn your passengers."

US Air 397: "Roger that."

A big "Thumbs Up" to your son Rocketman. Sounds like you've done a great job as a Dad. Does anyone remember the "Rat Bowl" a few years back when we played and won against the Ravens at BoA?....A flight of two F-14 Tomcats from Oceana NAS flew a low approach over the stadium with their wings in the "delta" position.....BADASS:patriot:

Couldn't find a phone number or direct line to these people but you can call anywhere in the organization and get their extensions or whatever. Hopefully one of these people will be able to help with this.

My Marine son's squadron, VT-9, did a flyover at the Packers Bears game a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't televised but was very well received. My son would like to find out if the Panthers are interested in a flyover for a game this year. I'd like it because I'd get to see my kid fly it and then get to see him afterward. A very simple 3 page doc would be required from the Panthers to make the request and my kid would do the rest.

VT-9 is an Advanced training squadron that trains top Navy/Marine primary flight school graduates to fly and fight a tactical jet. (who have already been selected to fly fleet jets like the F/A-18) They fly it up to and including carrier quals. After that they move on to the F/A-18 or Harrier etc.

Does anyone know who in the front office would be the best contact? Obviously someone in PR but having a name is always nice.

Below is what they would fly.....It's known as "Baby Hornet" or "Clown Jet" depending on who you ask...(student or instructor LOL)

The one's with the A on the tails are TW-1 jets (VT-9 and VT-7 birds) VT-9 would be doing the flyover

Your son is a badass. You did well, sir.

Thanks for the comments guys. I can assure you he feels it's an honor to serve. His younger brother is a Marine as well (with sand in his shoes) Only difference is one can retreat at the speed of heat and the other has to stay and fight LOL

Thanks for all the help. I'll let you know if anything ends up being scheduled
