Navy/Marine Jet Flyover for Panthers

My Marine son's squadron, VT-9, did a flyover at the Packers Bears game a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't televised but was very well received. My son would like to find out if the Panthers are interested in a flyover for a game this year. I'd like it because I'd get to see my kid fly it and then get to see him afterward. A very simple 3 page doc would be required from the Panthers to make the request and my kid would do the rest.

VT-9 is an Advanced training squadron that trains top Navy/Marine primary flight school graduates to fly and fight a tactical jet. (who have already been selected to fly fleet jets like the F/A-18) They fly it up to and including carrier quals. After that they move on to the F/A-18 or Harrier etc.

Does anyone know who in the front office would be the best contact? Obviously someone in PR but having a name is always nice.

Below is what they would fly.....It's known as "Baby Hornet" or "Clown Jet" depending on who you ask...(student or instructor LOL)

The one's with the A on the tails are TW-1 jets (VT-9 and VT-7 birds) VT-9 would be doing the flyover

yea it would def be a 2 ship.

The FAA restricts them to 250 knts and 500 feet (I think) but sometimes they can fudge it and go lower/faster

That noise does it for me too. Knowing that my kid is flying it is amazing. I saw him do some low fast stuff at a small airshow and it's hard to describe the feeling

Couldn't find a phone number or direct line to these people but you can call anywhere in the organization and get their extensions or whatever. Hopefully one of these people will be able to help with this.

I've always wondered who pays for this. Do the teams pay a fee?
