Looks like there's bad blood between Rivera and Lovie Smith

you gotta know the difference between firing and not renewing a contract before you keep assuming things, but you can look however you wanna look.

people still say fox was fired here and those idiots have no credibility either.

The NFL isn't like the rest of the world. You can absolutely say that Fox was fired by the Panthers and Rivera was fired from the Bears.

In Rivera's post-game press conference people were asking him about the Bears, and he mentioned that when he was released from Chicago he went to Smith and asked him if it was personal.

That struck me as odd. Normally you'd know it was just business and wouldn't even need to ask.

Its interesting looking at the team stats. When Rivera was there, Chicago's defense was consistently top 5 or 10 in the league. After he left, rarely did they make top 10 in the league. Add that to the fact that San Diego's defense was terrible when he took over, and tops in the league when he left.

While there are probably a number of reasons why Chicago's defense went downhill, got to say that its possible they made a mistake letting Rivera go.
