I used to work near a plasma donation place and unless you look like a gangbanger or crack ***** you will not fit in.

I used to work at the plasma center on Freedom Drive (don't know if it's still there or not). There are some unsavories that went in and donated, but no one diseased or dangerous. The biggest drawback I noticed in people who donated twice a week is that because of the large-gauged needle, some folks ended up with permenant, concave scars on their arms.

Otherwise, it's a great way to help people and make a little change!
