Seriously if I was Bartman I'd move to St. Louis and embrace the situation. A big fug you to the fan base that ruined his life. Should accept all the interview offers(some of which were for $25k+) and wear a St. Louis t-shirt.

He could become a millionaire off this.

I read on wikipedia that he has turned down numerous opportunities to cash in on this. I read that he turned down a six figure offer to appear in a super bowl commercial a couple years ago.

Yep, he has. Just goes to show how bad he feels about it.

It's really fuging ridiculous and not only makes Chicago look bad, but it makes baseball fans(and ESPN for continuing to cover this story) look like crazy fools.

I call BS on his attorney saying he is still living in Chicago. Pretty much zero sightings of him since that night in the city leads me to believe he got out quick and never came back. Somebody would have recognized or tracked him down by now or some friend or neighbor would have spilled the beans.

Moise Alou is the one who brought the bad juju with his little temper tantrum, changed the whole vibe of the game. He freaks out and brings a negative cloud and the doubts begin to creep in.

Then Alex G. missing the double play.

Any Cubs fans who blames Bartman is a f**king moron.

totally agree. man, i remember that like it was last night.

Hard to believe that happened almost 8 years ago. NPR made this comment about it:

the internet played a role in the vilifying of Bartman, but it wasn't quite as robust as it is now. Had online been as ubiquitous then as now, would Bartman have been in worse shape?

Makes you wonder what would happen now to the guy.
