Why is the coaching staff okay with Naanee's poor performance?

He has done NOTHING, hardly gets separation from his defender, doesn't seem like he's running the right routes cause every time Cam throws at him he seems not where he's supposed to be, and don't even get me started on his fuging blocking. He was someone who already supposedly knew this offense, and he clearly doesn't cause he looks lost.

I dunno, but LaFell is making a case for the legit number 2 spot. Naanee needs to step it up for sure, otherwise I want to see more play time for AE or even Pilares.

Somehow, some way, #2 receiver needs to be found. Don't think that Naanee is it, or the #3 either.

BTW, 3 games, 4 catches, 48 yards. And Cam has thrown for 1000?

I think that everybody needs to lay off of Naanee personally. When he's thrown an accurate ball he's caught all if them. It's not his fault that Cam has missed him on wide open looks.

And I say all of this not even believing that He was really gonna make any impact on this team tbh when we picked him up.

Give the dude a break... It's not his fault!

I'm not fond of Naanee either. One thing I will say after attending sundays game, the dude gets opened, I'm not sure how, but he does. Also I think he's still a little ahead of Lafell when it comes to knowing the playbook, and he really doesn't drop to many passes. He may not get to the ones, we feel he should get to, but he doesn't drop many.

Why is the coaching staff okay with Armanti and DeAngelo? Both have done NOTHING. Give Naanee a fair shake. We gave Jarrett a few years.

Armanti hasn't been playing receiver, DeAngelo has proven what he can do. I think the coaches are capable of looking past DeAngelo's numbers and know what he can do when given the opportunity. Naanee hasn't proven anything. I'll give him credit for that one catch with the defender all over his back against Jax, and he's been good for about 1 good catch per game, but LaFell really should be the second starter.

They would never have signed him had he never proven himself in the past. He's off to a rough start. Give him a few more games. Same results? Pull the plug. Same with Armanti as a punt returner.

I think the reason is that he does things that aren't flashy and don't show up on a stat sheet. If you can honestly say that he hasn't made some great catches then you haven't watched all of every game because he has made some great ones. He hasn't been thrown to that often, and most of the times he hasn't caught the ball, it would have taken an above average catch to get it. I agree he sometimes looks lost on routes, but a lot of times I beleive he is meant to be a decoy and really isn't the first or second option. I do believe LaFell is a lot better but I trust our coaches to do the right thing. Unlike most of you on here.

probably the same reasons Stewart is not going to get a bigger workload. But at least Williams has the resume to justify not jumping the gun.....not sure why "LA" is getting the reps. In addition to his questionable play in regards to the balls he gets.....dude can't block or pickup blocks worth a poo.

    • His o loaded with swift, dj, Keenan and Rome was inconsistent at best. The d was bad. And the game management was atrocious and lost them games.  He was terrible and made the team worse. I wish they kept him
    • That is my point.  I think teams make a huge mistake when they pay their decent to average QBs top QB money because they feel that they have to match the market or lose their investment--There is no way, for example, that Tua or Prescott or Murray should all be making more than Mahomes--I mean, Dak makes $15m per season more than Mahomes. People say, "Well, when its his turn...." But that is not how it should be--so my point was that Bryce can be doing mediocre to good enough in 2 years, but the way it is going, you have to pay him at the starting QB rate--currently $60m.  So even if you think he will continue to improve, at $60 m, he would eliminate any chance for a ring---so my view is, if he is not elite, you cut him.  So you draft QBs now and see what you can make of them.
    • With two 4ths and three 5ths I’m hoping we can kill it on adding depth. Take a gamble with the two 7ths.  First 3 picks id love to address the defense. I expect Tuttle, Robinson, and Jewell to all be on the 2025 roster but not after that. Be a good time to add depth and let them develop a year.
