I am bias as hell but IMO Williams is the best RB in the NFL right now.

On another note, I wish they still did that "Jacked Up" segment on ESPN countdown. Barber bouncing off the ground from Stewart's stiff arm would be #1.

...when I said the same thing 8 or so weeks ago. Funny that now, people...not everyone...just a few...are starting to say the same thing.

When I compared him to Adrian Peterson, everyone laughed and said he had not proven that yet.

...and to some degree, they were right. But after having seen DeAngelo play in college, I knew exactly what they didn't. That he is AT LEAST the best running back in the league.

I never doubted him. The time/situation just wasn't right before. Now, everything is as it should be for his running game to work for him. Look at all the crazy records he broke in college. He just HAD to get bigger and get into rhythm. When you add another guy who can be successful on downs as well (not Foster) then you can rest your other guy between plays, thus they stay somewhat fresh through the game. But we all knew that already didn't we (referring to those starting RBs threads of yore)?

You got that right. Fox should have made him the starter in the middle of the '06 season when Foster started to struggle. But anyway, glad he is getting the work he deserve.
