That's the problem, we were supposed to be in the cellar last season. Projected to start out 0-3 and it was the opposite. We stumbled into the NFC Championship somehow.

Our weapons aren't bad, we just cannot do anything on offense with 2 of our starters out. Jerry Angelo patched our OL by drafting Carimi and didn't bring in any veterans. Without 2 of the best linemen, instantly we're even worse than last season.

Charles Johnson is like a reliable pickup truck that works everyday. Julius Peppers is like a Ferrari that works occasionally but sometimes doesn't start. Both make your team better just in different ways. I prefer CJ however I can't fault anyone who thinks Peppers is better. Right now at this point, I would choose CJ over JP.

I can honestly say that I do not miss Julius Peppers. I wish him well, but he is one of the most frustrating players I have had to root for.

Yup because he is so talented when he disappears it's like he is not trying. However in the back of your mind you always question that. I used to always think if it was to save his mothers life JP could get 5 sacks a game. However I don't think you will ever see that level of determination for an entire game. I look at Charles Johnson and think he left it all on the field. I think it's unfair to JP however I guess that is the burden of being such a monster. You will always be judged differently. I think that's ultimately why he left Carolina.
