I know a couple of folks who say they hate certain deserts but admit to never trying them. Things like:

I eat it all. Meat, dairy, veggies, nuts, fish, breads and desserts. I prefer country cooking like fried chicken or cube steak, mashed tators or rice, milk gravy, beans or greens and plenty of biscuits. Also love my seafood. I do dislike bland food. I need seasonings in my food. Let's eat!
