Cam and his towel Gif Approved

All Im saying is what it looks like to me. Kinda standoffish. Could be wrong

doesn't matter what has happened or his mood, he usually has a towel over his head when he doesn't have a helmet on and he's on the sidelines. happened at auburn. happened in training camp. happened when they had the lead. thats just something he does like other guys put on a ballcap. not a big deal at all.

as far as sitting off by himself, he usually isn't. he'll have shula beside him and they'll be talking about what is going on.

is he unhappy when things aren't working or he made a mistake? probably. dude takes it seriously. he's getting stuff worked out in his head. again, not a big deal at all.

does he isolate himself from the other players? not our concern. the team is full on his bandwagon. there has been tons of talk about the leadership role he has taken on and his ability to motivate the other guys. in between series, though, i don't want my QB, esp. a rookie QB, to be just hanging out and watching the game with the other guys. i want him working. i want him thinking about what he did wrong/what he could be doing better. i want him thinking about what is going on and i want him talking to his coach. i don't care where he does it as long as he's doing it.

After Shula is done going over the previous possession, he does sit alone. His way of zoning out and focusing.

Also, good thought just popped in my head. Maybe he sits on the bench and doesn't watch the defense so he doesn't feel like he has to press based on what the other team's offense is doing or not doing. It's his way of staying level-headed and full-intensity for the whole game. Never looked at it that way, but it makes sense.
