I rarely take the over and under but I don't think I have ever bet the under. Something about rooting for teams not score that I don't like. You want defenses to make plays but not big plays.

I also don't bet on the team I pull for. In my experience it angers the betting Gods.

Good points, and I dont like betting on the Panthers either, I feel I jinx them when it doesnt pan out. In fact, I didnt even take us in my suicide pool this week. I would probably bet the over in this one too.

I know some on the inside in Cleveland. They're not going to win this weekend. It's an easy bet.

If you bet against the Panthers, they'll win. Now--if you're a big enough Panthers fan, you kiss the $1600 goodbye and laugh about it and be happy we're 2-2 and Cam just beat Chicago in Chicago.

If you take the Panthers, they'll lose. Worst possible scenario. We lose and you lose your money in these hard economic times.

I hope you do what I will do this week, stay away from this game.

If I have a gun to my head and my wife is mortgage is on the line on this game and the 6.5, I am going with Carolina, FWIW.

One of these weekends, Cam is going to have a dreadful, dreadful game. We will get blown out pretty badly. I dont know if it's time for that yet. Just a gut feeling that he could go up to Chicago and do what Donovan Mcnabb used to do in that stadium as a young player.
