For a two hour program there weren't nearly enough dinosaurs. Also way too many family problems. People watch TV to see dinosaurs, not dad and son issues.

They got attacked by birds in episode two. Ep. 3 better have dinos eating people or people are going to start losing interest.

I think the show is ok, but nothing special so far. With Fox's track record for non-animated series, I give this show about a 75% chance of folding within a year.

I didn't think it was that bad. Keep in mind, they had to get the story and the basis of the characters put together pretty quickly.

I thought most of the acting was pretty good, but the young kid was a pretty bad actor and the whole "I'm mad at my father for not supporting our family over the past 2 years" is so cliche.

Other than that, it was entertaining. It's not like anything else is on TV on Mondays, other than House at 9:00. So I'll probably watch Terra Nova until it is probably cancelled.

Wait - they threw $22m at a pilot, yet gave the writers and casting directors a short period to put the show together? No wonder it's so poo.

I'm a little disappointed in the CGI. The dinosaurs look very unimpressive. The dinosaurs in Jurassic Park looked wayyyyyyyyyyy better and that movie came out when I was in like 1st grade. I realize it had a much larger budget, but you'd think technology improvements would make it possible for a television series to have similar graphics to a movie that came out in 1993.

I knew it wouldn't last after the pilot... shows like this never do. They always focus on the wrong thing, usually the "human element" in the plot and totally miss what the people who would tune in to a show like this want.

i watched episode 2 last night. i won't miss it if its cancelled, but i'll watch it until then.
