Show is bad. I expected cheese, but wow. Male teenager acting stupid. Nerdy teenage daughter (Jurassic Park?). Throw the guy into security even though he was just in jail and forced his way there. Cliche teens outside screwing around. The dinosaurs look worse than Jurassic Park did almost 20 years ago. I can't believe they spent 22 million on this pilot. Acting was pretty bad too. I like how they have the "dude from Avatar" in there to lure people into watching it, even have him posing and standing around like he did on there. He's basically the SAME character in this one.

I'd expect cheese out of Falling Skies on TNT, but it was less cheesy than this. I felt like I was watching a SyFy channel movie or one of those straight to DVD ones off Netflix you haven't heard of.

"May" give it a couple episodes, but, I don't expect this one to last long.

Well, male teenagers do tend to do stupid things. :)

i'm sure it was because of how much money the episode cost to produce, but a half hour of commercials in a 2 hr block is ridiculous. thankfully i didn't watch it live.

i thought it was decent, but Boardwalk Empire remains my favorite show right now.

I didn't think it was that bad. Keep in mind, they had to get the story and the basis of the characters put together pretty quickly.

I thought most of the acting was pretty good, but the young kid was a pretty bad actor and the whole "I'm mad at my father for not supporting our family over the past 2 years" is so cliche.

Other than that, it was entertaining. It's not like anything else is on TV on Mondays, other than House at 9:00. So I'll probably watch Terra Nova until it is probably cancelled.

Hopefully they learned from some of these other shows... because if they don't have some kind of plot already laid out and just start making crap up, it will flounder quickly. The audience that will like this show won't stand for it.

I thought the acting was okay (pretty good outside the teenage guy), and while the episode had a lot of cliche drama, and it's pretty obvious what the real goal of terra nova is or w/e, I'm still curious to see where they take it.
