Agree.

To extrapolate your thoughts even further, here are our leading receivers based on receptions:

Smith- 16 catches 349 yards

Stewart- 13 catches, 140 yards

Olsen- 12 catches- 169 yards

Shockey-9 catches 137 yards

LaFell-8 catches,109 yards

Williams, 7 catches, 46 yards

Here are the questions people need to ask?

Exactly who is Edwards going to supplant? How many catches do you think a 3rd or 4th receiver on the team will get?? I mentioned this before the season when people wanted to add all these receivers on the team. There won't be many passes.

Edwards is fine as a returner. Getting winded running as a receiver all day makes little sense when we have all this production in front of him. He will get his chances and I think he will break one this year as a returner.

I have never understood the Huddles obsession with who our 4-5th receiver will be. We have NEVER had an offense where this individual would get on the field, much less ever contribute in any major way. I understand the constant debate over our 2nd receiver but arguing about which scrub will be at the end of the bench is kind of pointless, IMO. You could say the same thing about probably 28 of the 32 teams in the league.

It's a combination of A) Where he was drafted B) His contributions to date C) Location on the depth chart D) App fans are annoying

I get where you are coming from with AE but going back years prior to his arrival people around here have spent waaaay too much time worrying about who the last reveiver to make the roster will be.

Because many on here seem to have the fox mentality and envisioned cutting him as soon as his name was called in NYC that day.

Preferably Brian Quick out of App. Would be a solid 5th round pick up, good hands, 4.5 speed 6'5 220 lb frame 42'' vertical. I'd say he's worth a look.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Ive been around him way too much. Seen him play way too much. There will be other guys on the board better. Trust me
