I have made about 5-6 posts explaining my position on him already. I dont think he is good enough to play wr in this league.

I disagree. I think He will become a decent WR in this league at worst.

He worked with Moose this Summer on his route running. Yes, he has dropped a few balls here and there but who hasn't? Even Smitty has this year. ^He just gets a "pass" because he's Smitty.

I just hope that Chud and RR give him a real chance on Sundays. That's the only way to see what he's got. Put him in games, reflgular season games that mean something. There have been Numerous Players in the past that have not performed especially well in practice but play "lights out" on gamedays.

It's obvious that he's behind the power curve to this point, but with what we gave up to get him, this coaching staff had better do their due damn diligence to make sure he is a nobody before we let him go. I'm still hoping that He will shake out and contribute. If he doesn't then it's another black eye for Hurney.

He's returning punts because he's not hurting us (holding onto the ball) and the staff wants to see as much as possible this year so they can have a better basis for seeing whether he factors in to the plans for 2012, although there's not much optimism, not just because of his lack of return ability but also because he's viewed as a liability at WR (can't run correct routes, poor blocking, drops/missed too many balls, small, not physical, average speed).

Remember that the staff doesn't really care what the "investment" in Armani is in terms of the pick given up and where he was drafted. They just need guys who can play. He has no trade value at all. The cap hit, etc. is just something the front office will need to deal with, but if the staff tells them they just aren't going to play him and want someone else, Marty will have to find a way to get it done.

This is the smartest thing I've seen on this blog thus far . Been a few but this is the best .
