Louis: "I'm sorry, this is meant to be both a crime fighting and a murder game. There's no 'bitch slap' in it."

Doakes: "Well you might wanna put it in because I'm about to bitch slap you to sleep if you don't get that computer out of my face!"

i was always kind of hoping that dex and doakes would come to some sort of mutual agreement. they weren't that different from each other after all.

I don't think they will get together romantically. She may want to, but Dexter sees her as his sister. I DO think she will cover for him (she has to, right?, or how does the show go on?) which means she almost has to join in.

I think she is not going to actually be involved in any of the killings, but I think she will "send fugers his way."

This way, she could give the justice that she has always wanted to give.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I just wonder if Dexter will carry out his normal ritual of dumping the body in the ocean after Deb has caught him.

I also wonder if he will lie to Deb and tell her it was just a one time thing and that he has never killed anyone before.

Also a question about the writing in the last episode:

Do you remember when the entire Miami law enforcement agency was standing behind Deb in SWAT gear during her press confrence, snipers and all?

Why the hell was there only one police officer with a long rifle, in regular uniform, on the roof of the skyscraperwhen Travis Marshall appeared? :confused:
