I took what Vick said as pointing out that the refs tend to call late hits/head shots on qbs a helluva lot more when the QB is named Brady, Brees, Manning (Peyton of course) or Rodgers.

Hell, Green Bay hit Cutler with a late shot today that, had the Bears done it to Rodgers, it wouldn't have surprised me to see the player ejected... If it were Brady, I would be surprised if he didn't get ejected.

If that is what he was talking about, he's got a damn good point.

Honestly I'm not sure what he is talking about right now BBQ&Beer but that is exactly the complaint the Eagles had last year about late hits... IMO they had a point, but it's not like the Eagles are doing a good job trying to protect Vick, they are basically just sending him out there to get crushed.

Vick gets hit late all the time. He gets no protection from officials at all. Just look at his concussion last week - that wouldn't happen to Brady et al.

He's right, but he's not the only one that gets no-calls.

iirc, our own player (Jimmy) got Tom Brady'd in the preseason and got no call.

The Refs are just as off on their calls as any.

Vick is absolutely right, and according to the Rule Book; he has a case.
