I'm glad Cam had one of his "rookie" games now

Da Bears game is gonna be interesting. I actually think we match up well against them if we can contain those damn Forte screens. He's a slower Westbrook in his prime.

The Bears already are letting Finley go crazy...Shockey-Olsen should be able to get 100+ yards and at least 1 td

This needed it's own thread?

Dude why do you go around every fuging thread someone makes and make stupid and annoying replies where all they do is derail threads. You did the same thing in my thread.

I mean what is the point? You accomplish two idiotic things: bump the thread. derail it.

You help prevent people from actually having a reasonable discussion.

To the OP, I couldn't agree more.

against a team where he can afford to play like complete and utter ass and still come out with a win. he's going to have to step it up against the Bears defense or next game won't be so lucky.

Wow...And here is what is being said about Blaine's game today...

Gabbert went 12-of-21 for 139 yards through the air, along with a touchdown, interception and three fumbles. It may be unfair to judge him after his first game, but Gabbert looks like he’ll need time to adjust to the pro game. Giving him scrubs to throw the football to definitely won’t ease his transition; loading the offense with weapons, though, will help fulfill his potential.

Why am I not surprised by the difference in tone towards the two QB despite the fact that Cam has been busting his ass for this team.. Just can't hide the reality, can we?

That's exactly why I wanted him to start week 1. We see the talent and the experience he's getting now will only make him better. He's getting looks from different kinds of defenses and learning from mistakes. Last game Cam threw 3 picks, but today he threw 0. I know he wishes he could've had a lot of those throws back, but like I said he doesn't keep making the same mistakes. I'm very impressed by his poise and decision making overall. The future is bright

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
