The long range field goal was before the rain there genious. The short range field goal was after the rain. Kasay still would've made both I believe.

Even Panther great Steve Beuerlein said it was an obvious choice to punt it even with Mare on the field. Get over the fact that Kasay isn't here anymore. Rivera made the right choice and it doesn't take a football genius to see that.

Sure it was a factor....a BIG factor on the first. the 2nd was just a smart coaching call. The Oak kicker probably wouldn't of been allowed to attempt the first one....ball simply won't come off the ground in that condition
