High Ankle sprain, smitty had one last year, he was out 2 weeks. He should be back by now. Unless Rivera wants to give his guys a chance before giving the rookie a chance.

WTF? I thought Kearse was signed to help immediately. Also was looking forward to Pilares getting out there.

I think that's what Fields was signed for and just needed a week to practice. Seems Kearse is just an extra body at practice and for emergencies.
