As a DL, yes. He'd need more weight. But man, he'd be incredible as a LB in a 3-4. A brilliant coach could do wonders with this guy's versatility. As I've said, he's very Adalius Thomas like, except a bit faster.

On a team with likely-1st-rounder Devin Taylor and all-decade recruit freshman Jadeveon Clowney, Ingram is easily the most polished DLineman on the team. He is amazing at just about everything on defense. Mostly moves inside to play DT on 3rd and longs to get him, Clowney, and Taylor all in on the pass rush at the same time. He just does what he has to do to win. Would love to see him playing on the Panthers but even with his strong push this year he's likely only a 3rd round pick at best.

Unbelievable how dominant this guy has been. He is in the backfield on absolutely every play. This game he's putting up against Auburn is incredible.

That INT today again showed his amazing versatility. He wasn't a dlineman busting up a screen pass and getting lucky, he was in COVERAGE that play.

He is by far the best player on USC's defense right now. I bet he gets taken by someone like the Patriots who love versatile guys.

He is a monster. He has been reported (and all this was said before this year) to throw the ball 70+ yards, punt the ball 50+ yards, and is easily the best athlete on this team. He is not only the best player on the USC defense right now, but the best player on any defense.
