Godfrey Doubtful, Gamble Questionable.

A month ago, many people on this board were talking about how Pugh was going to challenge Godfrey for his starting job. The coaches were high on him.

Fast forward, and now Godfrey is a team captain, and Pugh is burnt toast.

I will wait a bit longer before throwing Pugh under the bus.

not worried about gamble. he'll play. not a big deal that they let him sit. i'd rather do that this week. not like he has a big challenge this week compared to the past two.

godfrey is a bit concerning, tho. i'm hoping he gets cleared to play. they're going to need him.

panthers are going to have to put constant pressure on gabbert and blitz him like crazy. their oline is very suspect. i think that CJ and hardy will provide enough stress to get yo gabba making mistakes.

i think our oline and run game also takes off this week. that will help take some of the pressure off the defense.

another big thing is that i think we blow them out of the water early and go up by 2+ scores by the half. they'll have to open up their pass game to play catch up and that will for the most part take MJD out of the picture.

I think if Godfrey was going to play....he would have already been cleared (like Vick)

Pugh is awful. I'll be terrified if he plays. Considine is a former Jag I believe. Let him get out there and let his knowledge of the system keep him upright.

Jax is going to be dinking and dunking a lot of passes along with trying to run the ball up the gut. This is a very John Fox like team. I'd rather sit back and play coverage. Let Jax underrate our LB corp if they like and let those guys do their job, while CJ and The Freak bring pressure on the edges.

true. i don't see them going long with it. lots of short safe passes going on. the defensive game plan that teams have been using against us will work against jaxville.
