The first NFL game I saw watched with interest was a Monday Night Football between the Bears and Vikings in the Metrodome. The offensive firestorm with Randall Cunningham, Randy Moss, Cris Carter, and Robert Smith was amazing and was what made me a fan of football in general. So all in all, I still have a soft-spot for the Vikings and root for them when they're not playing the Panthers.

Ironically, it was why I hated the Bucs and Falcons even before the I became a Panthers fan. The Bucs cost the Vikings an undefeated regular season in 98 and the Falcons benefited for the infamous Gary Anderson chip-shot miss (first miss the entire season) in the Conference Finals which allowed the Falcons to send the game into overtime and advance to the Super Bowl.

I eventually became a fan of the Panthers during the '99 season (due to getting the games every week) and loved the team's scrappiness. Vikings became secondary at that point.

Growing up, I loved Elway. The 2 rings he won, I was only like 7 and 8 though but I had Bronco shirts, cards, etc. For me it would be the Broncos, but I've stopped caring about them since Elway retired.

I'm a big Dolphins fan. I grew up a Fins fan because I loved watching Dan Marino tear people apart. Been a hard road for them for a long time, but I think they are better than their record.

Will be interesting to see what direction they go in.
