I think our offense is headed in the right direction, hell they are putting up the points! I agree it is exciting to watch them be competitive for a change. However I don't know if you have been to a coaching clinic but WINS are stressed. Wins do matter! Sometimes it decides whether or not a coach stays or not. I personally don't think you play/compete to lose, but play/compete to win! I know people are different but that's just the way sports were taught to me. Some fans might just be tired of the way our FO handles issues! Like when they "address" a problem rather than "fix" the fuggin thing!

there's nothing wrong with people viewing this season for what it really is, the first step in a rebuilding phase that should have us being a contender again within 3 to 5 years.

If you think it is going to take 3 to 5 years to be in contention again, then expect to see it happen with a new GM and head coach. I don't think JR thinks we are that far away and neither do I.

We need to shore up the defensive personnel but keep in mind we have 3 current or former DC's on our staff. They are expected to get the squad to perform well in spite of a few shortcomings.

Maybe I am one of those with my head in the clouds but you seem to fall on the pessimistic side of the scale.

why does it have to be a "buzz kill"? some people just look at life from a realistic view point.

it is unrealistic to believe we are going to win the superbowl this season. saying so isn't a buzz kill.

it is not unrealistic to think we are going to win this week against the jags.

it's ok to pull for your team, but living life floating in the clouds accomplishes nothing once reality sets in.

These last two games have been more exciting and more intense than all 16 games combined last season...no buzz kill here :cool:

You totally missed the whole point of the thread. I was stating that its quite annoying that if we try to highlight a good thing somebody has to come with a stupidass comment like ya but were still 0-2. Well no poo, everybody knows our record.
