Ron Rivera strikes me as the kind of guy who gets angry when a game of Tic Tac Toe ends in a draw. I'm not worried about the team's desire to win while he's in charge.

Coaches aren't paid to have realistic expectations. Fans can think big picture though, and I prefer to.

Other guys want to play 'demanding fan', throw a tantrum after every loss and insist that we should win the Super Bowl every year? Feel free. I just think it's kinda silly.

No panther fan is happy that we are losing, but they should not have been crazy enough to think we were gonna go undefeated either.

why does it have to be a "buzz kill"? some people just look at life from a realistic view point.

it is unrealistic to believe we are going to win the superbowl this season. saying so isn't a buzz kill.

it is not unrealistic to think we are going to win this week against the jags.

i predicted a 5-12 season. that is a very realistic prediction. boasting that cam newton is the greatest player to have ever played the game, after a 2 game career, is just a bit silly.

it's ok to pull for your team, but living life floating in the clouds accomplishes nothing once reality sets in.

there's nothing wrong with people viewing this season for what it really is, the first step in a rebuilding phase that should have us being a contender again within 3 to 5 years.

we're not going to the playoffs this year. and quite possibly not next year either. i'd be very disappointed if we're not there by year 3. those are realistic expectations. not jizzing my pants with hopes of winning a superbowl this season isn't being a buzz kill.

the fact remains, at the moment, we are 0-2. you can't sugarcoat the facts.
