Fantasy Football points do not measure a players worth.

no they dont, but they are based off of things that do matter. like yards and touchdowns. im not saying his madden rating was low. the point i was making is that i doubt to many people were yelling and carying on talking about...o yes im gonna dominate m fantasy league this year, i drafted ricky proel in the 1st round!!!. i stick to my opinion that he was just serviceable. ricky was verry reliable that is true. if he was unreliable to me that would describe being bad. he was not bad. but he wasnt great either. he was just extremely serviceable in my eyes. obviously no one agrees, but i couldnt care less. i value alot of people on this sites opinion but it wont kill me if we dont agree. cary on panthers fans, there is nothing to see here..

In this case, it is my opinion that your opinion is dead wrong.

I don't know about FANTASIES but realities are that the games that Ricky made a difference in were numerous and often.

well im glad you guys all got that out of the way. i hope you feel better for making me feel all small and unworthy. i hope you all have fine afternoons and a wonderful friday. im not one to carry on forever sating my same facts and opinions over and over until someone wants to kill me.. its been nice debating this but i will be done for now. if you notice my post count is low for the amount of time ive been on here, and i was here pre crash. the reason for that is i dont need to blow the thread up with blabber and nonsence, if you dont agree with me, im ok with that. what matters is we all like the panthers. so you guys have a good day.

I think it is too early to tell with the 2011 WR's but I do like what I have seen from Lafell so far this year. He has made some really tough catches and his footwork has been amazing. I tend to agree with Onebadasscat that if we had Smith, Gettis, and Lafell (instead of Nannee) I would take 2011 receiving corp because Olsen and Shockey are some of the best at their positions.

Isn't that serviceable?

serv·ice·a·ble adjective /ˈsərvəsəbəl/

1.Fulfilling its function adequately; usable

- an aging but still serviceable water supply system

2.Functional and durable rather than attractive

3.In working order

- only twelve aircraft were fully serviceable this morning

sure i can, in fact i just did.. but to defend my thinking, shockey, and olsen are some of the best for their position. you cant say ricky was like andre johnson. he was great. i knew i would catch hell for saying that, and in fact gave it some thought before putting it that way. however im sticking to it, cause thats my opinion. i do think he was great for this team, and i watched him make all off those clutch catches as well. but i just dont think at that time of his career he was in great status. i would say he was on the high side of servicable, honestly would you have had him on your fantasy football team?

again, no you can't.

You can't say 2011 Shockey is great

and then

2003 Ricky was serviceable.

I am not even debating what I think of either.....but that logic makes no sense.

servicieable doesn't = clutch and a difference maker in getting key Ws.

Prohel was clutch and basically came in when Carolina needed to get big things done. How Jeremy Shockey is deemed 2 pegs (good, great) above that is nonsense.
