And he followed that with "which was my fault," or something to that effect. I swear, people are just nitpicking every little thing about this guy...

Makes it much better to selectively quote a player thus removing the context. It's called bet hedging. Lots of the people who have bashed Cam are still fence riding while others are jumped over the fence and are now calling shotgun on the bandwagon. If he has a huge monster game with a win vs Jac there will be mania like we have never seen before. You thought the Michael Vick coverage was over the top, just watch.
