A few thoughts everyone should remember about Sunday

Let me go ahead and recap it for u ahead of time... Cam throws for over 400 again, we get the W, D did well in shutting down MJD... Running game coming along, but still not where we want it.

BUT it will be said that we played a rookie QB, with no real threats other than MJD... And the real test as to whether we're pretenders or contenders will be the following week against Breezy and the Saints. We'll always be the under dog against premier teams and rightfully so.

If you've been a fan for more than 2 seconds than you already know that historically speaking, we exceed expectations by a lot when playing that role.

Either way we're gonna do big things this year! Quote me on it...

I guess this is typical backlash against someone who writes a decently written composition of his observations on a site usually reserved for troll hunting and gif war thread derailment. In defense of the OP, i do see the correlation between the aforementioned athletes. I can see true Greatest of All Time potential in CAM. I can also see the cockiness and narcissist traits he mentioned. Sorry also to PAnther55 i am not buying the press release and player speak that Cam was disappointed that the team lost and personal accolades are not important to him. It is a little to neat and tidy. I wonder what he was really saying to his boys after the game. Fact is Cam has me worried that he could pull a Lebron on us when his rookie contract ends. I would not be surprised to one day hear him utter the words

"I am taking my talents to _____."

The other day at the local sports bar a drunken "Yankee" pulling for the Cowboys loudly proclaimed to me /Wearing my white reebok Panthers hat/ "It's too bad Cam ended up in Carolina."

My response was he was lucky to end up on a team on the rise, in a good situation as far as coaching, talent level, and not to mention the Carolina's are god's country compared to cesspools like NY, Detriot, and pretty much everything north of the mason dixon line. He also had the gall to say the ACC wanted no part of the Big East teams like Syracuse and whoever else. LOL really we are gonna destroy them in basketball. I told him the Big East teams play basketball like they have concrete soles on their shoes. I went on to tell him how the ACC has more players in the NFL than any other conference. Oh well went off subject and that is why i applaud PantherFan4life for writing a coherent and thought provoking post where most of us either ramble or are just contrary.

I think above everything else, we all know that our team, even without 52 and 58, generally has more talent around the board on offense and defense. But I think that if we are going to win this must-win game..the Cats should remember the following:

1. I know he hasn't so far, but Cam is getting more hype in the past 3 days than he has since the season started...he needs to keep his head on straight and keep being the composed QB we know he is. Don't eat up the hype too much!!

2. If we can run the football so Cam doesn't have to throw the ball 50 times, we will WIN...there just isn't any stopping this offense if it's balanced..especially if we can get it in to the fuging endzone.

I have a feeling that Gabbert isn't going to come out and try to beat Carolina deep, if they can get MJD some solid carries and get the short passing game going, they might be able to drive down the field rather easily.

I think this game is going to be a shootout..so let's hope Carolina brings a better gun.

He is focused on winning not having a big game so we will keep his head on straight.

We will do on offense what they give us. If they load the box you throw, if they don't you run. I like the fact that we develop as we go through the game based on the defensive sets rather than do what Fox did was develop a gameplan and keep at it whether it works or not. As long as we generate 500 yards of offense and score over 21 points a game, I don't care how they do it.

Of course they are going to gameplan but honestly we have done a pretty good on defense and offense ourselves. Except for special team gaffes and a few blown coverages, we would be at 2-0 instead of 0-2. We are still installing the offense so we will have plays this week they haven't seen and won't be able to gameplan for at this point. Meanwhile Dalton will likely have a diminished gameplan so he can manage everything.

I doubt they score more than 17 on us. They do not have the offense we do at this point,

To be honest I don't think half of the people on here are as smart as they lead on. It's irritating that you are constantly reminded of the various "levels" of Carolina Panther fandom or how much more intelligent you are than someone else. I like to come on here to see what my fellow panther fans are talking about and get their insight into things, but 75% of the time the conversation degenerates into hate for one another over opinions and it is ridiculous.
