So now we have "normal narcissism"...again...got it....so we have a non-extraordinary condition that everyone has...sort of like hunger, sadness, happiness...ect...and Cam has it, so we hope he doesn't acquire abnormal narcissism. Crystal clear on this now.....thanks for articulating this for everyone. Cam is a normal person with some great athletic skills and some normal self confidence, considering his current standing in life.

lol Yeah you're just like Cam!

But yes he is, if that's how you need to look at it, and he's also a full blown narcissist. So was Jesus. A normal person. That's what I also thought anyway.

Anyway, class is over. Break time. I'll leave you with this for your effort and patience as well as pleasant discussion. Enjoy!

So simply being a full blown narcissist in your opinion means he will do great things? Well I hope you are right

Sorry chef, didn't see this. Yes. It's what I said when this whole mess got started in the first place.

I'm glad narcissism is something we should be remembering for Sundays.

It always was something you should remember, you naughty boy. Don't you go to church? Thank Cam, we play at 1 that way you don't have to pass on Jesus....yet;)

Lol. "...but it says I am right on wikepediia!!" I am 80% sure that when psychologists are analyzing patients they don't reference wikepedia.

It is also funny how PFFL thinks that as long as he responds he is winning.

Is he a full blown narcissist or a guy who only exhibits some narcissistic traits??

Also if you are trying to convince yourself that it only means a normal amount of self love why did you provide a definition earlier that said "inordinate" amount of self love?? Are we cherry picking definitions now??

LOL. You didn't even read the page before posting did you?

American Psychological Association (APA)

Five studies established that normal narcissism is correlated with good psychological health. Specifically, narcissism is (a) inversely related to daily sadness and dispositional depression, (b) inversely related to daily and dispositional loneliness, © positively related to daily and dispositional subjective well-being as well as couple well-being, (d) inversely related to daily anxiety, and (e) inversely related to dispositional neuroticism. More important, self-esteem fully accounted for the relation between narcissism and psychological health. Thus, narcissism is beneficial for psychological health only insofar as it is associated with high self-esteem

Check the link. You're right, but they do probably check with them and have to get past their tests before getting a license to practice.

Awe poor teeray, you just wanna win one bad....huh? Just one! NOT TODAY! Or at least not on this subject.;)

And yes he is a full blown narcissist.

PS: On wikipedia, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, just about everything is referenced to an official or credible source. Including everything on narcissism. If it's not, they usually have a warning that it is not referenced properly and it needs sources. Oh and stop spinning..."only"?

And I already won in my opinion. You haven't yet satisfied me with even the pooty answers you have given based off your own posts. just because you respond to my post, doesn't mean you are suddenly right. You are still wrong I just don't want to repeat myself over and over again to get another incoherent response that makes you feel like you are smart while everyone else shakes their heads and laugh. You obviously need this one more than me so I don't want to keep taking that away from you.

Maybe your therapist can satisfy you. lol.

No that's called going to see a therapist. Did she say you were a narcissist?

Therapy is important. It saved my sister's life. I would have no shame admitting I saw a therapist. I might do it anyway even though I think I am healthy just because it would be educational.
