"Cam looking at the film what do you need to do to improve?"

No it wasn't. Because the majority of professional opinion on the topic, and not majority of 3 guys in a thread on the Huddle, have a full understanding of both the POSITIVE and NEGATIVE aspects of a narcissist. They don't actually just see it as a negative thing.

I promise you most psychologists do understand why the greatest leaders in history were narcissists, and why it takes a narcissist to be an exceptional, once in a generation type leader.

And when I used it to describe Newton, is because what I see in him is that. A once in a generation type athlete, once again, the likes of Michael Jordan or Muhammad Ali. The reason it ers on the side of negativity, is because most of them that have it, do end up usually doing something bad.

Vick - jail, dog fighting

Brett Farve - harassment, cheating

Tiger Woods - serial adulterer

Kobe-rapist

O.J.-murder

Hitler-genocide

Kobe-rapist

Stalin-genocide

.....the list goes on.

And that was my concern. Whether Cam will end up like Michael or Ali remains to be seen. The only thing that's certain is that he's not exempt from one way or another. All I was saying is no matter how he ends up it's going to be fun watching his rise to greatness. How he falls is the concern.

I hate to break it to you. Regardless if a single person expresses narcissistic tendencies, each and everyone of us are empowered the capacity to do bad things. I'm not a narcissist by any means, and I could easily do everything you have mentioned on that list.

Also, I'm not sure an adulterer or a cheater is narcissistic. Isn't spreading one's seed part of our human instinct to survive? Society is the only thing that has told it was wrong.

using fact and opinion in the same sentence is contradictory, now if you had said "The idea that blahblahMaccobycrapblah professional opinion" then you would have been correct.

Perception of reality no longer has any measurable difference from the opinion. In PFFL's reality this has become fact.

No disrespect Floppin, but I find it ironic that you continue to blast the evidence and support (no matter how obscure in your mind) that he has presented to support his opinion.

Yet, you have never (NOT ONCE) provided any evidence or fact to support why your OPINION is correct.

I am not a Psychologist and know very little on the topic. That is why I would love to hear the evidence and factual support from a "self proclaimed" expert on the subject matter like yourself.

Please enlighten us.

Jews being an inferior race who should be exploited at one time was a professional opinion as well. I think what we are actually looking for is the current scientific consensus opinion.

I'm not touching that one.

But if that's what you want, then Maccoby's viewpoints are some of the most recent ones as far as scientific consensus goes on positive narcissism.

He doesn't need it because two huddle members have his back and follow him around dishing out pie. That's all the evidence one needs.

You are stating that Maccoby's viewpoint is also the scientific consensus and has stood up to peer review? I don't know. That's why I never really specifically argued about your case of narcissism except for sensationalistic purposes.

So dropping all previous BS. Are you stating this is in fact the general consensus opinion that the majority of psychologists would agree on or if they would not that under scrutiny of peer review this would almost certainly be considered accurate by those reviewers?

I admit to being a dick to you today, so sorry but it was fun for a sick work day where I can't think or concentrate.

What is my opinion? The only stance that I've taken is that you can't attribute a minor psychological theory to a person from a completely distanced perspective, and further more attempt to provide evidence of your correctness by stating that famous leaders are Maccoby's definition of narcissists therefore Newton has to be one. Furthermore, to continue said argument by stating that these beliefs are incontrovertible facts, simply because you have bought into said theory, is asinine at best. That's the only point that I'm making.
