I have a Peppers jersey signed by Proehl. It was probably 8 or so years ago at the SF game and she was wearing my jersey and took it off and threw it at Proehl on the sideline and asked him to sign it. He did and tossed it back, but it was on the back wear the name is so when I got it signed by Pep later that day, he had to sign the front and now I have it mounted in a frame with no name showing. Thanks babe.

Its hard to say K. Johnson was a disappointment. He played well enough for what he was, an aging receiver that wasn't very fast but had good hands. He had a good number of catches that year. He just didn't get along to well with the others. But we knew that when we brought him in, so I don't see how it surprised anyone.

As far as our top receivers.

Smith

Moose

Walls

After that it drops off significantly

Proehl was a key figure in our superbowl year, and a good number two man for the next two years.

Willie Green was key in our NFC championship game run when we lost to the Packers.
