ya that is total attendance of 16 games.

You know you only play 8 games in jacksonville right?

here it is for home games

http://espn.go.com/nfl/attendance/_/year/2010/sort/homePct

looks like you guys do have a good following to away games I give you that but your logic is flawed bro.

you're ranked 21st while carolina is ranked 13th for home games.

Good try though

The reason why your ranking is so high on that website you quoted is because jacksonville is ranked pretty good for away games making your total higher.

but the point was playing IN JACKSONVILLE

You are a fuging moron. Our first home game, our attendance was 73,167. Jags attendance for their first home game was 61,619. We didn't have a home game the first week so we wouldn't be on that fuging list. Go to the espn link and look for yourself. Your dumbass link is only for week 1 home games.

well I know the guy is a moron but they do have better total attendance % then we do. Thats home and away games.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/attendance/_/year/2010/sort/allPct

but being 19th is not better then being 10th like the pittsburgh you just said you guys beat.

Yea I was just talking about home games. Not our fault that our opponents can't fill their stadiums. The only reason the Jags have a great road game percentage is because their 3 division rivals are all in the top 10 for home game percentages. They certainly don't go just to see the Jags play lol

Hey guys, Jags fan here wish you guys luck this year and I'm looking forward to a good game. That being said the above quoted statement is ignorant douchery at it's finest. Do the math numbnuts WITH the tarps on our seats our stadium has a higher capacity than B of A field without them we have one of the largest stadiums. And don't come at me with attendance woes because we averaged a higher attendance than the Steelers and your beloved Panthers:dita:

Not shocked at all that there are probably more people covering seats at the stadium with tarps rather than watching football with this kind of knowledge!

I went ahead and checked the link you used there. You're listing only teams who played a home game during a single week of a season. So...of the 16 team sample they were 13th?

So let me get this straight:

  • You have a small sample size (only 50% of the league)
  • You have a small time period (only one week)
  • You were still nearly dead last

Now here's what ESPN has going for it:

  • Tracks an entire year
  • Tracks all teams
  • You're still near the bottom

Now that we've shown that your link is almost 100% useless....I'm wondering where on the page you linked us you see anything relative to the Panthers at all? I mean I looked, and sometimes I overlook things, but you're showing figures from only home teams during a week we played in Arizona.

Herp derp sir...herp derp

    • Because being a pauper in the NFL is still making a king's ransom. NFL vet min is roughly 18x the median salary in the U.S.
    • At some point I sense it's gonna create some hate and locker room cancer between these cap hogs and the rest of the players. When the top 6 or 7 players take 80% of the cap, the other 40 plus guys are gonna get pissed off, especially when they're still only winning 5 or 6 games. Why put everything on the line to play with guys who are only in it for themselves?
    • I am just spitballing here--let it play out and I will go to bed: Let's say Mahome's contract comes due and he insists on $100m per season.  Is there a team that would find the money to pay it?  Would KC? It was in 2015 (I think) when Cam was getting $20m and it was hard to grasp.  In the past decade, the price of a franchise QB has tripled.  Then the next QB bases his contract on the Mahomes deal.  The trend has been the last QB contract is the highest.  I see nothing to discourage that trend--Greed can destroy a league.  Personally, I don't watch baseball any more, and the NBA has a small group of about 8 teams that appear on national TV and they have players who make more than some eastern block countries.  Ticket prices go up---and we are headed for pay-per-view very soon across the board-
