According to NFL.com we are the best 0-2 team.

I would add tightening up against the "Big" TD play

We have given up the following in the first two games of the season:

80+ yard punt return for TD

80+ yard Pass TD from Kolb to Doucet

30+ yard Pass TD from Kolb to King (granted Beason blew his achilles)

40+ yard Pass TD from Rodgers to Jennings

80+ yard Pass TD from Rodgers to Nelson

Some huge scoring plays given up by our Defense and ST

Get used to that. Giving up big plays is typical in McDermott's (Jim Johnson) defense. It is high risk, high reward but there will always be at least 1-2 big plays just like that in every game. There will be big plays made and big plays given up. Hopefully the ones made outweigh the ones given up.

But there's a silver lining in being 0-2.......if there's one way to prepare a rookie QB to for the pressure of a Superbowl is to keep him in win or go home mode every game of the season until he gets there.

All part of the plan.;)

continue to lose and you put him in a "what's the point of this senseless bullshit" mode. eventually, the first win is a relief instead of a morale boosting motivator.

losing is exactly that, losing...no matter how exciting it is to the fans.

You don't have to convince me of that. I'm quite pissed we're not 2-0 and wanna make the playoffs this year! I think we should be 2-0 and gunning for them at this point.

Thank god the rest of the NFC south botched their first week too, leaving us one game behind. It's actually quite easy for us to get back into it, if we pull in a couple of wins over the next couple of weeks, and we win our first divisional games.

That will put us on top of our rivals. Any other year I would have said we dug ourselves into a hole already. This year, I think we're actually still ok. But as always divisional games is what matters, and so far it's just been a warm up round.
