Feels good to be a fan of a Tier1 team. FINALLY.

We are at least a year, from being a tier one team. With one fun fact. Cameron. It may just get easier to upgrade our roster, because guys are going to want to play with, and for, Cameron.

You have to attract attention to get good players. The way Cameron has played. A young and aggressive coaching staff. Realistic Playoff potential. Player friendly Front Office. We may just be the place of choice next year.

My giddy is giddy. Let the amazing begin. And GOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!

Or maybe it has more to do with the 900 yards of offense and how we played the defending Superbowl Champions versus the way those other teams looked against their opponents....but hey...continue to give this team no credit.

Power rankings are based off one stat: wins and losses, not yardage and moral victories. I give this team credit for tough losses, but I'm hoping for a few wins too that way we can move up the power rakings the old fashion way...by winning.

It feels really good to have been there from day 1... through 1-15, SB loss, 2008 Playoff meltdown, 2-14 and realize that we now appear to have the franchise QB we've been searching for all along.

A franchise QB on a young team with lots of holes. Guys are going to start lining up to come here. We are on the verge of something special around here. And I am giddy as all get out to see where this all leads.

We have been exciting before, just not consistantly. We are on the verge of consitant excellence. As long as we have Cameron as a QB, we should be a playoff caliber team.

Lions fan=50ish years. Panther fan=16 years. Elite QBs=0 All of a sudden the Lions have Stafford, and the Panthers have Cameron. Finally nice to know, instead of hope, that you are a Tier One team.

Short story long. I'd say my giddy is safe for the next, oh, decade.:drool5:

Really? How did that logic work out for you last week?

I don't remember it looking like this:

1. Packers

1. Patriots

1. Eagles

1...

1...

.

.

.

.

2 Cardinals

2 Giants

2...

2...

.

.

.

.

2. Panthers

They do take into consideration offenses, as well as strength of victory or opponent. Even the NFL takes into consideration strength of opponent when needing to break a tie for a playoff spot.

I guess its the Vick, Tom Brady effect. Look at the contract no. and see how much of a cut chad took to go to New England. :) or Albert "cash that 20mill" Haynesworth took.

Cam will get better and with the old gun slingers getting old - Here comes the Carolina Panthers years.

We have a Great Coach - i love that guy and of course and i hope they lock down their coaching staff to Tight contracts; none of that moving around to other teams crap.

GO PANTHERs.

This thread is funny several levels.

Last i checked we're still losing games.

But cause we have an icon on this team, we're elite even though we're still losing games?

Sounnds like ya either got your priorities messed up, or haven't been a panther fan very long....or both.

I've always been proud and excited about being a panther fan.

Now that we have a qb that very well could end up going down as one of the grestest to play the game, doesn't make me feel any different about the franchise. It does make watching the games more exciting.,, but losing still doesn't make anything better.

The Panthers have been feared in the past. For different reasons, sure....but still...they were feared.
