"I don't think anybody in this organization wants us to rush for under 100 and throw for over 400 every week. Especially without points to back it up. We've got to do better on the ground. We've got to take pressure off Cam. We've got to let him hand the ball off 20-25 times a game and get 150 yards and a couple of scores out of that. That's what we're supposed to do. We're not doing that enough and it's hurting us."

um no gross, thats what we use to do. Pass protection means gross has to work harder and longer during a play. Boohoo. stfu and earn your paycheck.

Gross did a kick a$$ job in pass blocking against the Packers. Wharton struggled big time though.

Not many championships are won by teams who cannot run the ball. Make the game 1 dimensional.

Covering for the fact that our right side is weak and young and our left side is not getting push (Gross, Wharton, Kalil, Hangartner--not exactly bulldozers)

that is b/c most championships were won when the league's rules were different.

The teams going to the Superbowl either have a top 5 passing attack or a top 5 D.

You can be one dimensional. If you pass the ball in today's NFL. Watch NE steam roll the league this year.....don't need to pound the rock when you can supplement it with the short/pass screen game.

I believe we are going to be firing on all cylinders very soon. One thing I have noticed though is that the type of running plays called are not what made our running game so damn good. I want to see more traps and counters. Put some big bodies with lots of momentum in front of those backs!!!!!

No one is screaming for a recreation of 2008's running success, but this offense (Cam more specifically) needs some kind of balance. Especially in the redzone.

Unless Rivera is expecting 3+ interception games all year long.

Cam most likely progresses as the season goes along....which means he will convert on a lot of these attempts he has failed on.....plays have been called up for success down there.

also, every team doesn't have a Woodson on D.

I'd like more running as well....but opponents haven't stopped us. We stop ourselves for the moment
