wow, everyone keeps complaining about delhomme and hoping we bring someone in to replace him, but nobody is good enough, and we arent gonna find anyone good enough for that.

all would be, if he were signed, would be a short contract to let him compete with delhomme and moore and mccown, nothing more.

Not true, Cutler or Mcnabb.

Losman never really got a fair shake, he's drafted no targets, his OC leaves, his HC gets fired, he gets benched, he wins the start, plays relatively well, he gets a target, his HC drafts HIS guy and he's thrown to the curb.

It is true that Losman did never get a fair shake, but he still sucks.

Did you see the Jets game late last year were he fumbled away the game?

he has made bone headed plays like that his whole career. Losmans awareness is horrid

Posted in a Bills forum discussing the idea...

makes sense

weren't they the only ones to give david carr a look a few years back?

Ouch :(

(to be historically accurate, the Seahawks looked at him too; other teams were rumored)

For the record, I can't find confirmation on this anywhere. None of the local beat writers has squat, and there's nothing from Clayton on ESPN.com about it either. I think it's entirely possible the guy reporting this misheard Clayton.

Also worth noting that the Panthers have minimal cap room and have interest in re-signing some of their own (i.e. Jones, Kyle) as well as confirmed interest in a free agent at a need position (Dwayne Robertson).

All in all, I'm not sure I can take this story seriously, at least not at this point.

If JP becomes a Panther we are going to wish we could have David Carr back. I can remember a game last season he started when Edwards was out and the never ran the ball. He looked a soccer player running in circles trying not to get killed. I remember going into that game with Marshawn on my fantasy team thinking he was going to score 3 td's but instead he only had like 8 carries or something weak like that. Moral of the story is JP could be signed but I hope it would be as a tackling dummy or water boy.

He had a Lee Evans and Eric Moulds. He also had a young McGahee. The guy got benched for Holcomb and Edwards. The numbers dont lie. If he came here it would be David Carr 2.0. We need a new QB, but is JP Losman really the answer? Why dont we DRAFT our own stud instead of thinking we can fix somebody else's bust?

He did have a decent recieving core but if you ever watched a Buffalo game he was ALWAYS running for his life (which means he can be very mobile) he also played for a futile team, lets face it they haven't had championship material in over a decade.

Did you see the playoff game last year where Delhomme gave the game to the Cardinals? I'll take one mistake over 6!
