Best way to beat a good back is to come out fast slinging balls and running the score up so that the other team is playing catch up or keep him off the field by chewing up clock with the run. Most Panther fans, myself included, would like to see us commit to the latter next week, but I just don't know if it will happen. Jax's front 7, while not elite, are adequate with a handful of solid players like Posluzny (I really don't care if I botched the spelling) and Aaron Kampman, who is old, but still solid. Their back 7 though is atrocious. Rashean Mathis is a good CB, but beyond that, our TE's should have a field day.

I'd say there is a good possibility we come out slinging the rock again.

I love our matchup of Gamble against their WR's though. Should see some Corner blitzes next week, since they will likely try to keep their passing game short and to the middle of the field. I know McDermott likes to rush the Safeties, but I'd prefer we let those guys man the middle.

Jag fans has always hated us and i don't understand why. i have a gym friend that is from that area, though hes not a Jag fan, and he says the same thing about they hate us and doesn't understand why either. Couple of us got in a discussion about it and the only thing we came up with is the fact that we've had more success and they are jealous.

i've always thought of our two teams as having something in common with being the two newest teams so we should have some respect and understanding. I love the town and since we're not in the same conference theres no reason to have hard feelings for any reason. I've always hoped they'd have success and loved their victory against the steelers several years back but i guess the feelings not mutual.

With all that said i still hope we beat the crap outta them this sunday but will still hope the best for them after that. Doubt I'll pull for them once they're the LA Jags though.

Rodgers flat out couldn't handle the pressure that our DEs put on him. He was frazzled from the beginning and except for a few blown coverages by our back-up SS, the Carolina defense performed very well against him.
