We were a unanimous selection by the owners to enter the league, the Faguars were not.

The Faguars had to actually rework their logo completely under threat of a lawsuit from the Jaguar automobile company.

They retrofitted an existing worn down stadium, we built a new one that still holds its own in the league.

Feel free to add to the list as to why we are superior.:)

Panthers/Jags came into the league together, our teams played each other in their first ever NFL game.

Probably has to do with that.(and we have been the better franchise)

Yeah, thats the reason we came up with too but it's a silly reason really. Someone had to lose. It wasn't liked we knocked them out of the playoffs or something. I still like to stop in and hangout in their town on my way to St Aug. Just hope the few fans of theirs that show up sunday don't show their a$$es.

I can't believe some of them are saying they have a better team than us. That's shocking to me. Clearly none of them have watched a Panthers game yet this season. Do they realize we have the 2nd best offense in the league right now statistically?

i think "must win" is totally reasonable. Rivera has stressed improvement. The cards game we would have just been happy to not look like a total mess, the packers are the world champs. There isn't any context to frame this where a loss is acceptable. If we lose then that destroys all the moral victories from the 0-2 start and we are just plain losers.

Wow.. you guys have a lot of confidence going up against one of the leagues most powerful runners with us freshly down two linebackers. I'm not so sure our blitz will work against a team built like the jags

Remarkable things called adjustments exist thankfully. Now I know you guys didn't see them regularly during the Fox era, but they are here now. In case you haven't noticed, we have the best defensive staff in the entire league.

I'll take Cam to beat MJD in a shootout any day of the week. I doubt MJD runs all over us, but even if he does it's going to take more than just that. This is the first game where we're not facing a dynamic and extremely talented passing offense. No fitzgerald, no rodgers, no jennings. I'm quite optimistic that we'll dominate this game. If you look at our first two games we really did well with controlling the time of possession, getting more yards and moving the ball well, picking up third downs. And on the flip side our defense has been solid too. The areas of concern are giving up too many big plays and the turnovers. But I expect that to be addressed this weekend. I think we finally unleash more of our true potential this weekend and crush the Jaguars.
