It's not good to have lost all those games last year and getting the #1 overall pick in the draft .... but .... the Carolina Panthers couldn't have picked a better year to have that #1 pick. :D

It looks like the Panthers "hit the lottery" in 2011 with Cam.

Let's hope he gets better and better. It's kind of scary to think how good he might be with a year or two of NFL experience. He might be better than Tom Brady and Peyton by then. Maybe sooner. Never know with Cam.

I just hope the Oline coaches are working HARD with the Oline guys. They gotta protect their new record breaking QB like he's the President and they're the Secret Service or something. They're the body guards.

It would be bad for the Panthers if Cam got injured just like with the Colts without Peyton. The Colts are in bad shape for this season. No doubt.

The Oline need to be "bad azzes" in the trenches in passing AND run blocking. They need to give Cam more time so he can throw with good mechanics with his footwork and follow thru, etc.

Cam still needs some time to get used to the speed of the NFL. The NFL is like a computer game that has multiple levels that get faster and faster. Cam needs to get used to playing at level 9-10 ... up from level 7 in SEC college football. When Cam is hurried too much, he tends to try to force things and make mistakes like he did in the Packers game. The Packers defense was a definite 10 defense. Gotta admit, Cam did alright against those guys. A lot of experienced QBs would kill to throw 430 yards on the Packers defense.

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
