Ravens waived LB Jason Phillips.

One of the Ravens' core special teamers, Phillips was inactive for Week 1's win over the Steelers with a concussion. A fifth-round pick in 2009, Phillips tallied four tackles in nine games a season ago. He could be re-signed later this season.

Looks like Rivera really likes Gaither at OLB. Don't understand why we need so many LB's though..Need that depth in the Secondary, not more LB's even with TD going down. Would like to sign someone to give Jordan Pugh the boot.

What's wrong with Lofa Tatupu? He should be on an NFL roster. I can't see Phillips making any sort of impact.

looks angry in his picture. hopefully he's got something to prove and thereby proves it. and hopefully he wants to prove he's a badass linebacker because if he wants to prove what a good ballerina this is, we've got enough of those on the defense right now.

Worse part is, is that he is an ILB. From a 3-4. Doesn't really match our needs at all. Just another guy at a position we were deep at.
