not sure if we will need another wr if we get gettis back and lafell continues to do well.. almost every draft board ive looked at so far has us taking a WR in the first round, and has us finishing around 8-8 or 6-10 for the season.

I know its early, but its fun to think about though. Can't wait for the "who should we draft with the #1 pick" threads to come back.

And didn't we trade away a pick for Olsen?

The next draft will be very interesting. I am thinking a big name defensive guy, either a LB or a DB. I think with staying with the 4-3 we need the stud LB's, so drafting one with our first pick is plausible. Try to find a guy who can do what Beason does, only without all the injuries. And with TD gone for seemingly his career, need a replacement.

And of course the secondary. Drafting a CB would be a good move, I dunno about a safety.

And you also have a couple stud WR's in the draft. Could be we draft one of them with first pick. It will be interesting that is for sure.

Not sure why we are talking about the draft when there ate at least 14 games to go. Let's worrying about racking up some wins. We lost two close games and sadly I see some talking about getting the number 1 pick. Why? Let's get through this season first. It is still early and anything can happen. Looking at our schedule I don't see why we can't get some wins. We get more efficient in the red zone ,.then not too many teams can beat us. This season is far from over. Yeh injuries hurt but no excuse to bomb the season. Others who were waiting for the shot, here it is

exactly! cleveland robbed atlanta blind this year and that wasn't for the #1. imagine what we could get for the caliber of player of luck. maybe 3 #1's and then some! atlanta gave up 2 first round picks for a WR.

I am hoping for a good season. That is the most important thing. BUT getting the top pick which EVERY team in the NFL pretty much will be after will be nice.

We would easily trade it for a top 5 if not top 2-3 pick and gain so many other picks for 2012 and future years. That would be great. But with Indy and Kansas and some other teams, it is HIGHLY unlikely we will be in that position. Even though we have the hardest schedule. We are going to win some tough games.

Panthers aren't headed for the Luck Sweepstakes. Carolina plays Indy this year in Indy. Panthers would have to lose 1/2 their starters to lose to Indy this year.

Colts are back suxing on Defense, and they can't run the ball, and can't punch it in the End Zone! And the Colts have Jim Caldwell as Head Coach!

Add this all up and Carolina wins at least 1 game! Colts got beat by Cleveland! KC could play the Colts and win right now!

We could draft him and trade him just like the Chargers did with Eli Manning.That deal worked out pretty well for the Chargers

He's been pretty solid through three games.
