Are we headed back into the Luck sweepstakes?

honestly I don't know about that. Next week will be telling. We have good backups. our biggest problems have been breakdowns that look to be the result of our safeties. I think that is mostly Pugh too, from when one of our safeties shifts to a corner in certain packages, but I could be wrong. I have high hopes for Butler given time in the system, and I think if he can come around, that'll solidify the back quite a bit.

I don't think we'll have a great defense this year due to the injuries, but it might be good enough to keep us in some close games near the end of the year, where the improvements Cam and the offense have made can shine without him needing to put up 500 yards. :)

We have the right QB. I am confident, if the lock out had not been a factor, the

connection between Cam and the guys would be significantly more accurate. The running game must be a major focus, as well as training in the enzone in preparing for the future games. The best is yet to come!!!!!

Even though we lost our defensive captains, this is everyone's first year in this defense. We lost a lot of athletic ability with Beason and Davis, but hopefully we have not lost the mental ability on defense. The Packers lost plenty of starters last year, and they still made the playoffs.

We got Cam who's improving, and we still got one of the baddest running games in the land once it takes off. Luck sweepstakes? Child please. With Cam making every game competitive, we should still be in the run in for having a great season and more.

The Chiefs might not win a game.

We lost to the Super Bowl Champs by 7 points with our QB making his 2nd start ever.

You guys are some of the biggest retards in the world. I mean, really.

Yeah, its going to hurt losing TD, but LB's are actually not as difficult to replace.

I'm not saying we are going to go 8-8 or make the playoffs, but if you think we are going to have a worse record than the Chiefs or Seahawks then you should not be taken seriously.

    • Yeah, I mean, it's fine to bank on youth but it can't outweigh who you are as a prospect. I don't look at a guy and say, "Oh I have an extra two years to develop this guy" on a team that needs a ton of help at every position. If I were an elite team with depth to spare, hey, why not? But those teams also draft in the range I think he should be in, middle of the 1st to end of the 1st. That's fine but I think you are going to struggle pretty heavily to find a guy that WASN'T arguably playing out of position his entire college career that was as unproductive in college as Stewart has been that panned out in the NFL. ESPECIALLY as a top 10 pick.  Now, if we are talking a top of the 4th round pick? You run to the podium with that Stewart card and don't look back.
    • For the second round, right Brandt/Dan???
    • yep, because one example proves a fact wrong.
