Beason's thoughts on TD.

There is no way this tear is as bad as previous years.

I mean the guy was freaking jumping on the sideline yesterday.

That's what I was thinking plus didn't he play a series at the end of the game or am I mistaken? This is a big blow. I think the team will have him back but I'm not sure how much an ACL can take, but that's what doctors are for.

I dunno, I think a lesson should be learned here, Davis has had 3 ACL tears now. Should carolina even consider allowing beason to try to come back? I say no. Good player yes but a good player on IR doesnt do the team any good. I think its time to look past these two. Bring in the future.

Davis is approaching 30, while beason is like 26. Beason is the present and future

Our goddamn strength and conditioning coach and our training staff SUCK. We have more season ending injuries year in and year out than any team in the NFL. This has to be more than just "bad luck."

On topic, sucks to lose Davis. One of my favorite Panthers when healthy. I said many times yesterday, prior to his injury, "man, it is some kinda nice to have TD back healthy!" :( He will be missed if he does hang it up (and I believe he should. Knees are already shot. Don't make it worse.).

Don't think he will, sadly. Not here at least.

I hate it because he has so much talent, but it's time to hang up the cleats. I'm sure the Panthers would bring him on as a coach if he wanted it.

Enough with every former Panther becoming a coach. If it were up to the fanbase this team would have a coaching staff consisting of 49 former players and a head coach.

    • I don't have that stat available - https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-rookie-receiving-yards-leaders-2024 The number was discussed here and it was normal among *all WR. It just felt more cause a couple of those drops were back breakers. I know one drop he caught 95% of the ball, I think it was the eagles drop.  I think you always look at the whole side, he had a good rookie yardage and TD year with some poorly timed drops. He can improve and he can can slump. Sure he could have played better, same time he could have played much worse too. He was the 32nd player drafted, not some top 5-10 savior. I thought he had good rookie year with ups and downs. Knowing he did so with lack of reps due to injuries and he kept playing with questionable QB play, that looks to me like he can improve his level of play. Not on the stats either, he looked good blocking too, many big gains he was helping with down field blocks.
