OLB's in the draft

I like Brown a lot, but I'd rather take a CB in the 1st and an OLB in the 2nd. If we can get Travis Lewis in the 2nd it'd be a great pick.

I completely agree. I firmly believe that OLBs are easier to find quality players in later rounds than CBs. Plus I think Travis Lewis will be there for our pick in the top/mid of the 2nd round easily. I am an OU fan, so I may be biased, but he is the best LB we have had at our school since Curtis Lofton... Atlanta's MLB. He is the real deal, and a tackling machine. He reminds me a ton of Lance Briggs.

You have to go with CB with our top pick.. and there will be about 4-5, 1st round CBs in this years draft. So there will be a lot to choose from.

Vontaze looks to be one of those linebackers that have the instincts to jump over the line and make the tackle in the backfield. From what I've seen he's a definite beast. Us loosing Thomas Davis hurts and I think we have to worry if Beason will be the player he once was. So drafting him would be ok in my books but it's not up to me, or u, or anybody else. And so what if he gives up 30 yard of penalties. The intensity he would bring would oversee that. And he would probably make even bigger plays to void the penalties as well. The linebacking core has been a real strength for us, but as of now its not as strong so why not. I say either him or a cb.
