Thomas Davis tears ACL

Need to start addressing the elephant in the room, the Panthers medical staff. With all the injury and rushing players back over the past three years, how in the hell they keep their jobs should be questioned. If you or I fug up on our job, were out the door.

Good luck to TD, a class act.

Either of the LB's from Oklahoma or Nico Davis from Alabama should be on our radar screen now for a mid first round pick next draft.

crap. it upsets me a bit, but not nearly as clowns using this opportunity to say "i told you so"

like you really had a clue and we should respect your ability to predict the future as a harbinger of doom.

go get your own damn cookie and pie yourself. no one is impressed. no one cares about you.

I will use this thread to thank Thomas Davis for giving everything he had when he was on the field. When drafted, he had a quote that his desire "was to get to the ball with bad intentions". I'll never forget that.

The safety turned lineback by Dr. Foxenstein, he excelled early on in the "rhino" package, playing the hybrid defensive back that spied Michael Vick after he had terrorized us everytime we played Atlanta. TD finally got us over the hump against Vick and company.

This injury is gut-wrenching, not just because of the loss of Beason, but because he was going to have a truly spectacular year and lead this defense. Now, someone else must emerge a leader...I wonder if Anderson possesses that quailty. We shall see.

I personally appreciate the passion and fire that TD brought on every play, and unfortunately his career as a Panther will end too soon.

God Speed, #58. You will be missed.
