It's prorated over the course of a contract. 7 Million over 5 years is 1.4million per year, sorry I was saying 1.2million, brain fart.

1.4Million per year?!?!?!?!? OOHHHHH NOOOOOOs And even if they are forced to put the remainder against the cap in it's entirety next year that's 5.6million, which isn't really all that huge. The cap is going to expand quite a bit next year. Of all the bitching about Hurney that you do this is probably the least justified, not to mention just classless to do in this thread.

It might be classless, but the Hurney bitching is justified. Just add this to the list of bad deals coming from Hurney. Extending TD, DLo, probably overpaying for CJ, extended Delhomme after his meltdown (lol!), trading future picks for Otah (somewhat justified), Everette Brown (retarded), and Armanti Edwards (retarded) are all terrible personnel decisions.

His contract isn't your business, really.

This. The man's career is most likely over and all some people can do is bitch about how much his contract will count against the cap? GTFO and rot in hell please.

I prefer hijacking other threads.

Besides, if I started a thread about how senile Hurney has gotten in the past few years, then I would just spend all of my time defending my positions against the Hurney ball slurpers.
